Platarias

A spacious harbour near the village at the end of the long Ormos Platarias bay. This port was once a small fishing port but has expanded into a large marina over the years. Because of all the great facilities, this place has become home to a number of English flotillas and private yachts.

Mooring
The best places to moor are located in the ´new´ marina. You can moor both forwards and in reverse at the quay. The port has a good anchorage ground. It is also possible to moor along the quay near the taverns. This can also be done forwards and reverse. Unfortunately, this quay offers less shelter in stronger winds.

Shops & Supermarkets | A small supermarket, bakery and butcher are located near the port. Another supermarket and bakery are located further down in the village. |
Miscellaneous | Bus connection with Igoumenitsa. The harbour master arrives in the morning and evening to charge for water/power and will request port fees from every boat. |
