A pleasant fishing village located in a wooded area close to a shallow harbour. The small harbour is a surprisingly lively fishing port where many small and large fishing boats set sail to catch fish for the markets and taverns situated on the island.
Sailing towards this area
From the east you can see the location of the town right next to a hill. Watch out for the shoal, Ak Lefkimmi.
Mooring
With the bow or transom to the stone pier. Do not go to close to the quay because there are some rock outcrops in certain places.
The anchorage ground is reasonably safe to use up to 2 to 3 boat lengths from the quay. You can easily anchor your boat just outside the harbour, on the south side, although you are less sheltered from the swell here.
