Spartochori

Spartakhori is located on the northwest side of the island of Meganisi, opposite the island of the Onassis Dynasty, Skorpios. Like a pirate village, the village is situated on top of the mountain. Here you also have wonderful views of the Spiliou bay. Spartakhori is a picturesque village that comes to life at night. It is definitely worthwhile to walk to the village. It is 15 minutes’ walk from Steve´s Spilia Tavern.
Follow the main road halfway until you see stairs that go straight up to the village. The houses and narrows streets are decorated with flowers and plants. There are many restaurants with a wide choice of fish and meat dishes, both up in the village and below in the bay. The village also has several supermarkets, a butcher and a baker. If you do not want to climb the mountain, you can order bread for the next day in the restaurant where you just had dinner.

Mooring
There are mooring lines at various places. The restaurant owners will gladly help you. When none of the mooring lines are free, you can choose a location along the quay where no lines are at your disposal. The water in this bay is very deep (10 metres and deeper), so make sure you can adequately drop your anchor. You can either moor at the restaurant at the back of the bay or on the right side of the bay.
